About
Professor Kosala Weerakoon is a lecturer in medical parasitology, Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. He previously completed his PhD at QIMR Berghofer under the supervision of Professor Don McManus and Dr Catherine Gordon.
Professor Weerakoon maintains an affiliate position and collaborates with the lab on projects aimed at determining the burden of parasitic disease in school aged children in Sri Lanka.
