Rebecca Johnston joined QIMR Berghofer as an Institute Bioinformatician in 2018. She provides research assistance to groups throughout the Institute, specialising in bulk and single-cell RNA-seq analysis. Rebecca obtained her BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Queensland, and MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of British Columbia. During her MSc, she investigated the prognostic significance of the tumour microenvironment in pediatric Hodgkin Lymphoma using gene expression.
