About

Jessica has an honours degree in Psychological Science from the University of Queensland, and a masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University. She began work at QIMR Berghofer in 2016 as a research assistant on the Prospective Imaging Study of Ageing (PISA) and has continued to work on PISA and ADNeT since, in various roles. Currently, she conducts and scores neuropsychological testing for both the PISA and ADNeT studies and works behind the scenes in project coordination, including data collection, administration and data analysis for numerous studies. Jessica has co-authored a number of academic research papers and her research interests include neuropsychology, mental health and genetics. She also works under Professor Nick Martin, for research on mothers of non-identical twins and fertility, and Professor Sarah Medland, on the genetics of psychiatric conditions such as Schizophrenia and ADHD.

Jessica is a member of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Allyship Committee at QIMR Berghofer, and in her spare time enjoys yoga, reading and looking after her three cats.
