Dr Mary Waterhouse completed a PhD in mathematics at The University of Queensland. She worked briefly as a lecturer in mathematics and statistics at The University of Queensland, before moving into applied statistics.
Dr Waterhouse has worked in Professor Rachel Neale’s group at QIMR Berghofer since 2013, and she was the lead statistician for the D-Health Trial. She is currently involved in research into pancreatic cancer, as well as evaluating the risks and benefits of sun exposure.
