About
Briony Duarte Romero completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Dietetics) from Queensland University of Technology in 2013.
Driven by a passion for science and research, she joined QIMR Berghofer shortly after graduation, beginning her work with Rachel Neal’s team in 2014 on the D-Health Trial.
In 2022, Briony broadened her research skills by completing a Master’s in Biostatistics from The University of Queensland. She currently manages the Sun Balance and Sun-D Studies, focusing on advancing our understanding and communication of the complex risks and benefits of sun exposure.
