Brett completed his Master of Bioinformatics degree from the University of Queensland as a member of Dr Olga Kondrashova’s group in 2023. He subsequently rejoined the group as a bioinformatician and provides support for multiple projects.
Since joining, Brett has created a pipeline and a command line tool for analysing DNA methylation in order to assess its role in homologous repair deficiency. He is currently examining omics data from lung cancer clinical trials, and is also developing a workflow for the analysis of gene panels.
